Longest duration to walk(20km) while spinning the Silambam stick

 190 participants who have successfully spinning the Silambam stick  (interchanging between both hands) while walking continuously  for 20 Km in 4 hours.

This remarkable world record recognized as first of its kind.

Participants started to walk from new bus stand of Karaikudi and finished at Alagappa school Karaikudi.

This event was held on  11-12-2022 at Karaikudi, Sivagangai district, Tamil nadu, India. 

It was organized by Silambam master Mr.C.Muniyandi-founder of 

Sivaganga *Seemai* Silambam group.

135 yoga students performed Chandra namaskaram for one hour. In the mean time, another group of 75 participants performed Bharathanattiyam continuously for one hour.

Both event took place at same time.

This event was held on 13-11-2022 at Narayana E-techno school, Madurai district, Tamil nadu, India.

207 participants have been successfully performed Silambam stick fighting continuously for 6 hours without any break or rest.

The event was held on 09-10-2022 at MYS playground, Chinnamanur, Theni district, Tamil nadu, India and organized by Mr.Eswaran- founder of 'Veeramangai Velunatchiyar Silambam kalai koodam, Theni district, Tamil nadu, India

Most participants (171)  spinning the Silambam stick, silambam fighting and performed Pavala techniques of Silambam continuously for 5 hours without any rest.
