Fastest to identify 195 UN-recognized countries in the shortest time span by a toddler
Mirthik Dhev, the 2-year and 11-month-old son of Mr. Jeevanesan and Mrs. Kanchana, residing in Badulla, Sri Lanka, has earned his place in the Cholan Book of World Records for his remarkable achievement.
He successfully identified the locations of all 195 United Nations–recognized countries on the world map within 10 minutes, setting an extraordinary world record.
The event took place on Thursday (16th) at Heaven’s Hotel, Haliela, in the presence of Mrs. Sri Nagavani Raja, the Vice President of the Sri Lankan Chapter of the Cholan Book of World Records.
Acting as the adjudicator, Mrs. Sri Nagavani Raja carefully observed the entire record attempt and officially confirmed the child’s achievement as a world record.
Mirthik Dhev was honored with a framed world record certificate, medal, ID card,badge, memento, and file in recognition of his outstanding accomplishment.
The event was jointly organized by the Cholan Book of World Records and the People’s Helping People Foundation, adding significance to the memorable occasion.
61-Year-Old Sets Cholan World Record with a Five-Hour And 5 Minutes Headstand Yoga Feat
Mr. Kuganantharaja, aged 61, from Vantharumoolai in Batticaloa District, has made history by setting a new Cholan World Record. He achieved this milestone by remaining in the Sirsasana (headstand) yoga posture for an uninterrupted duration of five hours, and 5 minutes, demonstrating extraordinary endurance, focus, and discipline. His remarkable effort was not only a test of physical strength but also aimed at spreading awareness about the profound benefits of regular yoga practice in promoting physical and mental well-being.
The record-setting event took place at Vantharumoolai in the gracious presence of Hon. Member of Parliament Mr. Gnanamuththu Srineshan and Hon. Dr. Ilayathambi Sreenath, who lauded the achievement as a true inspiration for the younger generation.
Mr. Kuganandarasa commenced his attempt at 4:01a.m. and successfully maintained his balance in the inverted position until 9:05 a.m., creating an awe-inspiring moment that highlighted the limitless potential of human determination, regardless of age.
In recognition of this historic accomplishment, he was felicitated with a gold medal, a specially framed certificate, a commemorative shield, an identity card, and a file. The honors were proudly presented by Hon. Member of Parliament Mr. Gnanamuththu Srineshan and Hon. Dr. Ilayathambi Sreenath, who praised him as a living example that “age is no barrier to greatness.”

Master Headhaav, son of Mr.Gurunathan Dinesh and Mrs. Sutharshani Mahendran, born on 06-09-2018, and currently studying in Grade 2B at St. Benedict's College, Colombo, Sri Lanka.
At the remarkable age of six, he successfully completed 50 meters in freestyle swimming in just 49 seconds, showcasing extraordinary talent, unwavering focus, and exceptional athletic ability. His performance stands as an inspiring testament to the power of determination and disciplined training at a young age.

At such a tender age, she has exhibited extraordinary grasping power and intellectual brilliance by identifying 400 images, which include Action Words, Indian Gods’ Names, Most Addictive Foods, Indian Tiffin Items, Insects, Planets, Nature, Birds, Baby Items, Carnatic Music Instruments, Jewellery, Drinks, Accessories, Colours, Vehicles, Flowers, Shapes, School Items, Sea Animals, English Alphabets, Tamil Alphabets, Fruits, and Wild Animals.
In addition, she recited numbers from 1 to 100, parts of the body (17), 5 rhymes, performed actions for another 5 rhymes, the 7 days of the week, the 12 months of the year, the first 10 lines of Aathichudi in Tamil, 18 single-sound rhyming words in Tamil, and the 6 tastes by identifying their respective food items. She also answered interrogative rhymes in Tamil and performed a calculation rhyme in Tamil with confidence.
