The Cholan Book of World Records (CBWR) proudly recognizes this outstanding accomplishment as the first of its kind, where a remarkable number of participants performed the Bihuwati folk dance, accompanied by the traditional instruments Dhuliya, Pepuwa, and Taliya.

This historic event took place on 25-08-2024 at Nagaon G.N.D.G. Commerce College, Nagaon, Assam, India, and was organized by *Amb. Dr. Harehwar Saikia*, President of the Northeast States of India for CBWR. The successful execution of this event reflects a deep dedication to preserving and promoting Assam's rich cultural heritage.

Longest Duration of Bharatanatyam Dance – 3 Hours

G. Harshitha,
daughter of Mr. S. Gunaseelan and Mrs. D. Priyadarshini,
born on 23-08-2014,
currently studying in Primary 5 at Fuhua Primary School, Singapore,
and residing at Jurong East Street 21, Singapore – 600222.

She achieved an extraordinary milestone by performing Bharatanatyam, a revered classical dance form of India, continuously for 3 hours with remarkable grace, stamina, and discipline.

The Cholan Book of World Records (CBWR) proudly recognizes this outstanding achievement as a world record — the first of its kind in this category by an individual of her age.

The record-setting performance was held on 26-06-2025 at Seetharam Arts Pte Ltd, Singapore, where she is undergoing dance training. The event was officially monitored and verified by CBWR adjudicators.

CBWR congratulates G. Harshitha for her dedication and artistic excellence and wishes her continued success in all her future endeavours.
