Longest duration to walk(20km) while spinning the Silambam stick

 190 participants who have successfully spinning the Silambam stick  (interchanging between both hands) while walking continuously  for 20 Km in 4 hours.

This remarkable world record recognized as first of its kind.

Participants started to walk from new bus stand of Karaikudi and finished at Alagappa school Karaikudi.

This event was held on  11-12-2022 at Karaikudi, Sivagangai district, Tamil nadu, India. 

It was organized by Silambam master Mr.C.Muniyandi-founder of 

Sivaganga *Seemai* Silambam group.
